*THINK PINK*

Yuppers, more pink, more squares!
here we go:

"Smile a sunny morning. Sunny is the Style. Even if you're yawning, you can yawn a smile." - Strawberry Shortcake. May you always have a sunny day. From the Cannons, Covington GA
This is one of my FAVORITE squares so far! I love how dark & rich the colors are! When I checked the mail on Saturday I had 3 squares, all this dark rich shade of Pink! These 3 are definitely among the most favorite! The pink with the ladybugs says:

Dearest Little One,

discover your dream...Find the path that captures your heart, and follow it to the end. Happiness always, The Okertsroms, Valparaiso, Indiana
This family sent me 2 squares. (shown above and below.) These two are very special indeed...they have traveled a LONG way!! The card reads: Happiness is like a sunbeam, which the least shadow intercepts, while adversity is often as the rain of spring. -Chinese Proverb May Happiness Follow you & May the Rain of Life help you Flourish and Grow. Love & Best Wishes- Lesley, Brian & Cate XinLian (Fuzhou SWI Jianxi-DOB 2/9/03, DOA 15/8/04)- Hetzerath, Germany- July 2006

More Squares! I just love getting these envelopes in the mail! As with the last post, the good wishes appear under each photo:
May your life be always a bright spot in everyone's heart that you touch. Feb 2006 DTC secret pal and her daughter waiting for little sister. July 2006
This is one of my favorite fabrics so far!! I love the rich red of the ladybugs and the yellow ground...THANKS secret pal!!!

Live, Love, Laugh. February 2006 DTC Secret Pal. July 2006

Wishing you Peace, Joy & Love. Laura & Robin, Keith - California (I need to check this...)

May the Journey of your life be filled with adventures and May the road you travel Always Lead you Home. Bonnie, Desmond and Tevin waiting for Zoe Isabella. Genesco NY This square is also from Zoe Isabella's family in NY.
This is such a sweet material! I think it must be in the same "family" as the 2nd one from Zoe Isabella's family- same colors, same kind of theme. This one came from New Hampshire with the message: May you always know how appreciated you are. May love walk by your side. May friendship sing in your smile. May Opportunity remember to knock on your door and surprise you once in a while. -Colin McCarthy. May all your dreams come true. From our family to yours. Jennifer & Bill F., Londonderry NH. (Waiting for Susannah, LID 4/29/2006)

Pink: Pink comes from blending firey, passionate red with the purity and simplicity of White. Pink is the name of the Dianthus flower, the soft color inside a shell, and the sweet blush of a childs cheek. Our pink wish for you is that you enjoy the "pink of health" and are "tickled pink" by life! Much love to you from the Chang family 2006
May you and your family share in the joy of God's Blessing...good health and much happiness... From the Fraser Family, Atlanta Georgia.

This is to welcome Home a precious gift from God. he and He alone, has chosen to put you in our hearts, long before you are to be in our arms. Thanks to my Secret Pal....

Well, She has done it again! My Feb. DTC group Secret pal is not only clever but ambitious! She has promised me 100 squares for my 100 good wishes quilt! I had totally resisted doing a 100 good wishes quilt, but when I saw the two quilt squares in the mail today, and the wishes, and started seeing other people's wishes online...I immediately thought "I can join a group!" I can get more squares! I'll go to the quilt shop down the road this week!

So...this blog will be where I keep track of all my quilt squares...
and...Great Job secret pal...you hit a soft spot! I have been a quilter before (in fact I have several quilts already that will be sprout's), and I certainly will be a quilter again, but it's never had as much meaning as it does this time around!!! Looking forward to my summer of squares!!!
